Agnes and the Hitman

April 8 is Romance, and we're going with a master of the contemporary romance, Jennifer Crusie! This is her latest endeavor, co-written with Bob Mayer (they've written one other book together, Don't Look Down). Here's the blurb from Jenny's website:

  • Agnes and her frying pan arrived last August, and we can’t wait for you to meet her and Shane and Joey and Lisa Livia and Carpenter and… well, the gang’s all there. Agnes is trying to save her house, Shane is trying to save Agnes, everything that can go wrong does goes wrong, and there are flamingos. Kirkus Reviews called Agnes “a comic caper and raucous romance.” Publisher’s Weekly said Agnes was “a bubbly novel… to make screenwriters of goofball date movies proud.” And the Library Journal gave Agnes a starred review and said, “Action, humor, and romance make for a wonderful blend.”
